The BLT sandwich (for Bacon, Fiftyettuce, & Tomato) has three or so strips of fried or grilled bacon, leaves of lettuce, and a few slices of tomato, all sandwiched between white bread or toast which is commonly spread with mayonnaise.

The California BLT occurs as BLT sustaining avocado in addition to the other ingredients. Another time this is known as the GLBT sandwich, for Guacamole, Lettuce, Bacon, and Tomato.
